Beautiful. I love the sea lions sunning themselves on the buoy. Thanks for sharing. I didn’t expect a quick trip to Alaska on my lunch hour but I enjoyed it.

Is that bear in the tree?

    • Gina says:

Its an eagle sitting on its nest. Eagles were everywhere; I bet I saw over 40 eagles in the 3 weeks we were there. However, they are hard to get pictures of when they are flying. I should have brought my zoom lens with me, but I opted to leave it at home. I never saw any bears in Alaska :( My parents did, but I wasn’t with them that day.

Beautiful pictures. Did you make these during your photographer whalewatch excursion?

Hi. It’s good to hear from you! How was the rest of your trip? Yes, they were all taken on the photography excursion. I was happy with the way they turned out! I bought a better lens after the trip because I wished several times in Alaska that I have a better zoom.
